Lower Middle Income ANZAN Membership

 

Countries, which are defined as low-income economies ($1,135 or less GNI per capita) or as lower-middle-income economies (between $1,136 and $4,465 GNI per capita), as defined by The World Bank Group, are eligible to apply for membership with the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurology at a reduced membership fee.

Countries eligible for LMIC Membership can be found at this webpage. Countries listed under the headings “Low-Income Economies” and “Lower-Middle-Income Economies” will be considered for LMIC membership.

LMIC membership fees are offered at a reduced rate. ANZAN members pay an annual fee of $689.00

For members residing in a Lower Middle-income Country as designated by the World Bank, the annual membership dues for the 2032/2024 calendar year are:

Junior Affiliate (Medical Student or Trainee) :$0
Corresponding Ordinary (Qualified Neurologist) :$20

When filling out the application forms, don’t forget to check the box “LMIC membership”. Additionally, proof of employment in an LMIC country must be submitted along with the application form.

Annual fees are generally invoiced each year in July and will be sent via email in PDF format.
